The specifications, information and performance of the CARBON E-BIKE and other products manufactured by or sold under license granted by MOTO PARILLA and featured in this document may change without notice. The use of this information or products and the conditions under which the products are used are the sole responsibility of the buyer and/or the rider. It is the buyer’s and/or rider’s responsibility to determine the correct and safe selection of settings and conditions of use of the products and to periodically check the products for secure and proper operation. To the extent that the law permits, any liability which may be incurred as a result of the use of a product manufactured by or sold under license granted by MOTO PARILLA is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the failed product or component at the discretion of MOTO PARILLA, either within or outside of warranty periods, and does not extend to any loss or damage which may be caused as a consequence of misuse or failure of the products. Damages to the product, other property or any persons are the responsibility of the buyer and/or rider. By using this product manufactured by or sold under license granted by MOTO PARILLA, you are stating that you have read this disclaimer and agree to hold MOTO PARILLA, its owner/s and any of its employees or directors free from all liabilities, that you agree you are using and operating the product at your own risk, and that no warrantees or guarantees are made by MOTO PARILLA, expressed or implied, on performance or operation.

General warning

User manual contains many warnings and cautions, which if ignored, may increase the risk of injury to you as a rider, may cause damage to the product or may invalidate the warranty. We recommend that you read and understand this manual in its entirety, prior to your first ride. Before riding your CARBON E-BIKE you must visit https://www.motoparilla.it/italian-e-bike/service-manuals/ for up to date important safety related information. Riding any bicycle involves the risk of product damage, serious injury or even death. Such risks are increased in busy, urban environments with moving traffic. By choosing to ride a CARBON E-BIKE, you assume the responsibility for these risks, and it is important that you know how to ride responsibly and to exercise proper maintenance to minimise such risks and potential damage. Do not try to ride beyond the limits of your ability or the limits of the CARBON E-BIKE.

Intended use

CARBON E-BIKE is an electric bicycle developed and designed for commuting usage and/or simple riding in fair weather and at speeds relevant to safe and appropriate travel in an urban or suburban environment.

WARNING! Understand your CARBON E-BIKE and its intended use. Using your CARBON E-BIKE in the wrong manner or for the wrong purpose can be dangerous and may impact the service life of the product.

The CARBON E-BIKE is a power-assisted bicycle intended for sensible use by physically competent riders. If you have any concerns or doubts about your use or enjoyment of such a product due to a medical condition, an illness or if you are recovering from treatment for a condition or illness, you should consult your doctor regarding the suitability of the product for you. If you are the user of an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker or defibrillator, you agree to seek appropriate advice from the manufacturer of such device prior to the usage of MOTO PARILLA products.

Intended use

In the User Manual are present important sections on how to assemble and use the E-BIKE.

Accepting this disclaimer, you will accept to read all the USER Manual before assembling and riding your E-BIKE.

In particular, you will accept to read carefully and understand the following sections:

  • Assembly Instruction
  • Customizing
  • Maximum Design Limit
  • Riding in Low Light Conditions
  • Stopping the CARBON E-BIKE
  • Riding in Wet, Cold or Icy Conditions
  • Riding in Windy Conditions
  • Riding in High Traffic Conditions with Trucks
  • Limited Life Span
  • First Ride
  • Steering Radius

Disclaimer

CARBON E-BIKE is a high technology bike made with High quality material. Carbon used is T700 24T in UD/3K + Decal +Color Painting. All aluminum structural parts are in aluminum alloy 6061with T6 treatment and then CNC machined. Steel items of cantilever are in 39NiCrMo5, quenched and tempered. Components are all in high quality and trustable brands.

We apply a general warranty of 2 years, except the after listed parts of normal consume. We apply a general warranty of 1 year for the battery Pack.

Warranty period starts from the date of purchase and is referred to material defects/fault of workmanship for an e-bike that has followed strictly the instructions of the user manual, especially prescriptions of inspection, maintenance, and storage.

Read the user manual and complete the procedure of warranty on this page. Accepting the warranty includes the declaration that the user manual was read and well understood.

Delivery cost and manpower cost are not covered by warranty.

If a warranty-case occurs, MOTO PARILLA has the possibility to either repair or replace the defective component. Components which are not defective are replaced only at the cost of the owner.

Components which are broken or present any kind of malfunction due to a lack to follow user manual instructions are replaced only at the cost of the owner.

MOTO PARILLA can’t take any warranty for e-bikes customized or subject to whatever modification.

MOTO PARILLA can’t take any warranty claim if the original construction or equipment has been modified or the bike has been used inadequately.

The warranty is specifically excluded for bikes used for rent service and/or used in any kind of race or competition.

The Warranty is globally valid.

Additional claims from national warranty laws are not touched. Incidental and consequential damages are also not covered.

Warranty may be voided if normal maintenance procedures are not followed.

04.0

Saefty

Special instruction

Carbon e-bike batteries are guaranteed to have 60% of their original tested capacity at the end of the warranty period. If the battery fails completely during the warranty period, it will be replaced or repaired at no charge, except for transport costs.

Lithium batteries require care and some maintenance to maximize life expectancy. Abusing your battery will void your warranty. See the user manual for details.

In the event that a battery needs to be removed for return shipment, please contact technical service before any shipment.

All labor and shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.

The battery, if replaced under warranty, does not modify the warranty period, which remains 1 year after purchasing the e-bike.

All Lithium batteries must be shipped as Class 9 dangerous goods (HAZMAT) and must be shipped in accordance with all local, state, federal, and international laws.

Never transport the battery pack on passenger aircraft without due authorization from the authority.

04.1

Brake and Disc brake

Normal wear of the brake pads is not covered.

Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers’ guidelines.

In the event that brakes or disc brakes need to be removed for return shipment, please contact technical service before any shipment.

If the prescriptions of the USER MANUAL are followed, the surface of the brake disk cannot be damaged by the brake pads.

Warranty claims are not accepted for damage on the disc surface by consumed pads or from not original pads.

04.2

Suspension

Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers’ guidelines. Normal wear of the suspension, such as, but not limited to, oil changes (if in case) and leaking seals (if in case), are not covered.

In the event that a suspension needs to be removed for return shipment, please contact technical service before any shipment.

04.3

Enviolo gearhub

Warranty claims on components are made in accordance with component manufacturers’ guidelines.

Normal wear of the suspension, such as oil changes and leaking seals, are not covered.

In the event that an ENVIOLO HUB needs to be removed for return shipment, please contact technical service before any shipment.

Don’t disassemble the GEARHUB from the wheel unless specifically requested by our technical service.

Intended use

The following parts are subject to normal wear during the use of the e-bike, so they are excluded from the present warranty:

8) Seat and handle grip

9) Light LED and reflector

10) Service tools

11) High pressure pump

12) Front light battery (if present)

13) Battery door lock and its key
