Moto Parilla, Italian e-bike in carbon and with incredible design. The first two models are on sale
Moto Parilla is a historic brand of motorcycles, seen on the market between the 40s and 60s, which after the end of the business has recently reappeared, in a new guise. The heart of the company is now e-bikes, even if the connection with the world of motorcycles is always present.
This legacy is visible from the first concept versions of the Carbon, a high-end e-bike, intended for an audience that wants something exclusive, with uncommon technical and design choices. For this same reason, the product is available in several versions, to meet the tastes of as many customers as possible.
Let’s start with the Carbon Limited Edition, which offers a carbon and aluminum frame, with custom four-layer paint and a handmade leather saddle. The fork is not conventional, but uses a SRAMMonarch R 160-38 shock absorber, the same brand that we find at the rear, a Monarch Plus 200-57. The motor is available in three variants, 250, 500 and 750 W, to meet all types of legislation. The autonomy is supported by a 650 Wh battery.
We then move on to the Carbon Factory, which has practically all the same characteristics, with the exception of an even more accurate workmanship, black color with contrasting orange, with carbon and numerically controlled parts starting from aeronautical aluminum.
Even the Carbon Mimetica has no technical differences compared to the basic model, but is dedicated to nature lovers who are looking for an aesthetic that can harmonize with the surrounding environment. It is thus available in the Foresta, Deserto e Alta Quota colors, all made with a long artisan paint, which takes two weeks. Each rider will receive a video with the creation of his e-bike.
Finally we find the extreme design of the Ultra Carbon. Almost like a motorcycle, the Ultra is made to measure for the rider, with the calculation of all biometric parameters. The frame is therefore made from a single piece of aluminum, effectively making each piece unique. The engine is of a higher level, with a power of 4 kW. To manage all this power, the suspensions are also different, with a Cane Creek DBCOIL-IL – 190/45 – FACTORY TUNE shock absorber at the front and a Cane Creek DBCOIL-CS – 200/57 – FACTORY TUNE at the rear. Even the brakes must be appropriately sized, so at the front we find a double 380 mm disc, with double Alligator special edition 8-piston brakes, and at the rear instead a single Alligator with 210 mm rotor. The battery rises to 1000 Wh.
All versions of the Moto Parilla Carbon have an EnvioloOne Turn gearbox in the rear hub.
Even a foldable city e-bike
But the Italian brand is also launching a simpler and more classic, foldablecity e-bike, designed for urban home-work trips. This is the Trilix, inspired by the lines of the historic Graziella, but with a motorcycle-style trellis frame. It is equipped with a 250 W electric motor, with three-speed gearbox, and supported by a battery with LG lithium cells of the type 2170, for a capacity of 540 Wh.
In its simplicity, the Trilix is equipped with suspension integrated into the fork and seat post, and is available with 16 “or 20″ wheels. Then there is a wide range of accessories ranging from LED lights, to storage bags, water bottles, direction lights and even a rear view camera.
